Visionary Leadership in Sexual Health and Women's Health Technology

Dominnique Karetsos is one of the most influential leaders defining the global landscape of women’s health, sexual wellbeing technology and impact. Her career began in global consumer industries where she spent twenty years shaping brands, understanding human behaviour and building commercial pathways across Africa, the United States and Europe. This depth of experience forms the foundation of the authority she brings to one of the world’s most culturally sensitive and commercially complex sectors, and the reason corporates, founders, institutions and governments seek her counsel.

She is the former CEO and Founder of Healthy Pleasure Group, the first and only global ecosystem dedicated to sexual health and technology. It is here that Dominnique created and coined the term sexual health and technology, established the commercial language for an undefined space and built the commercial, educational and cultural infrastructure that catalysed an entire industry. Through HPG she launched global innovations, worked across categories from contraception to menopause, scaled taboo solutions into mainstream markets and developed the blueprint now used across women’s health, sexual wellbeing and wellness worldwide. It is rare for any founder to build both the infrastructure and the investment engine behind a global sector. Dominnique did both.

From this pioneering foundation she co created Amboy Street Ventures, the first venture capital fund dedicated exclusively to sexual and women’s health technology. As General Partner she invests in founders and technologies advancing the health, agency and economic power of women. She has personally invested in the sector since 2015 and sits on advisory boards and boards of women’s and sexual health companies across the world, guiding CEOs, founders and commercial teams as they navigate growth, cultural nuance and category leadership. Today she advises scale stage companies, corporates and global brands on a retainer basis through her strategic advisory practice, and works one to one with founders and CEOs through her Value Enhancement sessions, providing immediate clarity, courageous direction and commercially grounded strategy drawn from her lived experience as a founder, operator and investor.

A clinical sexologist and strategic intelligence advisor, Dominnique blends behavioural science, cultural fluency, commercial intelligence and human insight. She is known for simplifying complex, culturally charged topics and making them accessible, actionable and strategically powerful. She teaches that our culture, religion, policies and power shape the values we hold about our bodies and our money, and that unlocking women’s health and healthy sexualities is inseparable from unlocking economic development and a safer, kinder humanity.

She is the Founding Adviser of W.Group and the Resident Host of Women’s Health Week in New York and Europe. Her global speaking spans SXSW, Women in Tech Global Summit Paris, Management Today, HLTC, Women Innovation Health Summits, Hampton Tech Week, Sigma Health Tech Malta, sTARTUp Day Estonia and Longevity forums. With eight years on BBC Radio she brings mastery in storytelling, interviewing and challenging the status quo. As a Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and the UN Future of Innovation, she contributes to global dialogue on gender equity, innovation and the systemic forces shaping women’s lives.

Her impact work includes serving as Chief Impact Officer at the Blue Rose Alliance, preventing human trafficking and grooming, and raising funds for safe houses supporting survivors of sex trafficking in Southern Africa through Her100 Foundation initiatives. Her work is featured across the BBC, Forbes, Fortune, The New York Times, The Telegraph and more. At the heart of everything she does is her daughter, her north star. She is the reason Dominnique builds, speaks, invests and advocates with such conviction, fuelling a mission to create a world where women’s agency, economic freedom and healthy sexualities are recognised as essential to human flourishing.
